The menu reads like a celebration of indulgence, beginning with appetizers like the classic Caesar Salad, prepared tableside with crisp baby romaine, shaved Parmesan, housemade sourdough croutons, and marinated white anchovies, creating layers of texture and tang. The Charcuterie and French Onion Soup provide equally compelling starts, warming and enticing the palate before the main event.
For entrées, SR Prime truly shines. The Beef Wellington stands out as a decadent choice, showcasing prime beef tenderloin enveloped in savory mushroom duxelles, prosciutto, and flaky puff pastry. Paired with celery root potato purée, morel mushrooms, blistered cherry tomatoes, and a rich port wine demi sauce, this dish is a symphony of earthy, buttery, and deeply satisfying flavors. Alternatively, expect perfection from their charred-cut Ribeye, succulent Salmon, or the impressive King Crab and Lobster Tail offerings, each dish prepared to accentuate the inherent natural flavors with expert technique.
Sides are generous and crafted with care—try the Loaded Baked Potato, which customers describe as a meal on its own, or the grilled Delta asparagus and herb garlic fries, which add freshness and zest to the plate.
While most diners rave about the food, some reviews mention desserts as a more mixed experience; however, those who do indulge are treated to delights such as the Baked Alaska, a carefully composed dessert featuring chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream, mixed berry compote, hazelnut crumble, and Italian meringue—a fitting finale for a memorable meal.
Guests repeatedly praise the attentive, friendly service—Tamika, in particular, is mentioned for her outstanding hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for. The staff’s knowledge and warmth complement the sophisticated ambiance perfectly, enhancing the overall experience.
Prices reflect the high quality and craftsmanship but are considered well worth it by many, with steaks ranging from $65 to $165 and shareable sides thoughtfully priced to complete your feast. The restaurant’s convenient location, just in front of the new Ski River Casino, makes it an easy and attractive choice for locals and visitors alike, with reservations recommended to secure your spot in this popular culinary gem.

Food is good. Tamika was a great hostess/waitress/server whatever. The deserts were lack luster wouldnt buy any of them again. Definitely dont get the green apple thing it was very underwhelming, cool presentation, bad flavor/no flavor. The tomahawk steak was delicious. Eat it all! Shrimp, mashed potatoes, candied bacon, mushrooms everything was good. Just not the desert. The table next to us had a lava cake it looked and smelled better.
Best filet around. Nice selection of salads to choose from. They understand seniors splitting a meal as the portions are generous. The giant stuffed baked potato is a meal in it self unless shared. The only issue was with the bill. I found we were charged for 3 glasses of wine at $33 a glass. After running my card and signing, I noticed the error and mentioned it for which they needed to cancel the first charge and re-do it. I mentioned they should comp a glass of wine for the overcharge and the customer having to notice. The waiter didn’t respond and charged full price. I don’t have an issue with paying for what I ordered. It’s a matter of public relations and bringing customers with their friends back.
A well needed 5 star restaurant in the area, located in front of the new Ski River Casino. With easy access. Reservations are recommended. Great menu items complemented with an amazing wine and cocktail options. Service and atmosphere matching my 5 star rating. Highly recommend.
Went for our anniversary dinner. Great service and the food was very good. Center cut Ribeye, Mary's Farm Chicken, Giant Baked Potato and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Banana Foster Cheesecake treat for our anniversary.
The experience is worth the price. You are looking at 65 to 165 per steak and the sides are shareable around 10 to 25 per plate. I would say it is a must try. Add porkchops for us poor folks that would still shell out 35 or so. Great service and friendly staff.
This steak house is wonderful. We had a celebration of life last weekend for my mom and we took the family to dinner at S R Prime steakhouse. We are always treated like royalty but this dinner everyone went above and beyond to make this such a memorable dinner. I was in tears when Lisa and Isaac our servers, brought out our deserts. the event was so memorable. they set us up in the private dining room. My family came from out of the area and out of state and they all were amazed at the service we were given. The food was excellent.
Our first time at Sky River. Everything was 5 stars-worth every penny. The Alaskan King Crab, the Dry Aged Rib Eye and Wagyu steak were awesome! The cocktails were lovely Will be back for more
